For me the most complex thing in the universe, other than the universe itself, is the human brain.
It’s amazing how reading this web page your eyes are scanning the words, thinking what I’m saying, your bodily functions are chugging along, your position is being kept stable without falling, you may be recalling memories, sounds, smells, what you did yesterday, etc.
Now, how’s it possible that something that’s made up of chemicals and body tissue can do all these things continually.
I’ve read that some brains are wired more efficiently than others, and new research has shown that 60% of the differences can be explained by genetic factors.
I reckon that the brain is an antenna for something far greater than we can comprehend.
